This Terms of Use must be read before your registration.
This Terms of Member’s “Registration ID Agreement and Sales Agreement” (the "Agreement") describes the terms and conditions applicable to your use of

v Registration ID & Password:-
Ø Person who do the registration:-
Users under 18 years of age cannot register in Member’s ID service. (Except with JAT’s permission).
Person who registers in Member’s ID must personally register.
The substitution's registration is not permitted.
Users should declare that the information they offer to JAT are accurate, current and complete, and won’t give any false information when register.
When there is any change in the user’s information offered to JAT, please have contact with JAT promptly.
Ø ID and Password:-
User will receive own ID and Password soon after you submit the application form.
Users take the full responsibility of the own ID and Password. (Please keep your account ID and password safely)
It is not allowed to share user’s ID and password with another User or third party (individual or corporate) or give your ID or password to another User or third party.
JAT will never disclose user's password to another User or third party.
JAT cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure and /or carelessness including appropriation, fraudulent use of your password.
v Damage for delay, interruption, and discontinuance of internet :-
JAT does not take any responsibility for the damage that occurs because of the delay, interruption, and discontinuance of providing internet service.
v Purchase currency :-
JAT accepts Japanese Yen (JPY) as purchasing currency.
v Refundable Security Deposit :-
The Refundable Security Deposit is accepted in US$ or in JPY.
Deposit is required prior to purchase of vehicles.
All of bank charges (sending and receiving) are borne by the User.
JAT will acknowledge receipt of confirmation of your deposit by e mail.
When returning the Security Deposit, JAT will deduct Japan Bank charges of JPY 6,000 + any over bid fees, from the deposit.
JAT will keep the deposit until you have finished purchasing your last car.
The deposit can be used as a payment on your final car. Please inform JAT via e mail to accounts@japanautotrading.com and a cc to your regional Customer Support Sales Executive if you need to use your deposit.
Ø Types of deposit :-
The amount of refundable security deposit needed depends on the value of the car(s) OR bikes you want to bid from the Japanese Auctions.

Up to JPY 1000,000 - Deposit JPY100,000
Up to JPY 1001,000 to 1,500,000 - Deposit JPY 300,000
Up to JPY 1,500,000 to 2,000,000 - Deposit JPY500,000
Above JPY2,001,000 - Deposit 50%
Ø JAT Stock Purchase :-
Total Invoice Price need to send it to our bank accounts in Japan. ( Paying 50% can reserve the car and the balance need to be received in our bank on or before 7 days before the confirmed shipping date )
Ø Payment methods accept :-
Telegraphic Transfer (TT) – accept for Deposit and total payment
v Purchase procedure :-
JAT allows User for 05 FREE bids. Over 05 bids each bid will cost User JPY 600.
User must fill and send Bidding form to JAT bidding team with cc to customer support sales executive by email before 07.00 am
JAT allows User to bid or buy only one unit at once.
Once the User pays the full payment for the first unit or whatever due, JAT allow you to go for the 2nd unit.
From the stock purchase (vehicles, bikes, spare parts, agricultural and constructional machineries, fuel power generators and boats), User have to send 100% or 50% of total commercial invoice price. Balance of 50% can be paid after final confirmation of the shipping date.
v Cancellation of bids :-
Ø Before auction:-
If User wants to cancel a bid User have to send the cancellation message (by email), to JAT bidding team as well as to the Customer Support Sales Executive.
JAT needs to receive the cancellation before 07.00 am
JAT does not guarantee the cancellation. Therefore, User has to be careful when bidding.
Ø After been successful of bid:-
User cannot cancel a bid after winning a bid.
Canceling or Re-auctioning a successful bid will costs around JPY 100,000 (This can be higher, depending on the re-auction price of User’s vehicle and expenses). Example if User buys a car for 1,700,000JPYand re-auctioned sold price is for 1,600,000JPY then the User is liable to pay the expenses plus the difference of 100,000JPY to JAT.
Ø If do not purchase any vehicles after winning a bid :-
JAT will deduct all the Re-auction expenses from the User’s deposit (if any outstanding balance payment remain, JAT will send an invoice to User to transfer the money via PayPal or TT to JAT’s bank ASAP.
Ø If do not pay the invoice by the due date:-
JAT will contact the User and seek to find out why. If the payment is not received and it was not a bank delay / fault, then from the day after contacting the User, JAT has the right to re-auction vehicle and recover all expenses from User’s deposit.
JAT required 100% of the commercial invoice within 3 working days from the purchased date. If not order will be cancelled automatically.
v Our Stock :-
Ø JAT has all kind of vehicles in JAT stock and has a strong confidence to supply JAT stock to User and User’s customers.
Ø We show the FOB price in Japanese Yen (JPY). User can use the currency converter to calculate the price in US$ to get a rough calculation.
v Spare Parts :-
Ø JAT supply spare parts
Ø User can see the condition of the car (accidental type) and buy direct from USS Tokyo which is situated in Noda city in
Ø JAT will transport User purchased accident cars to JAT yard and do the half cutting or can dismantle into each part as per User’s requirement. The cutting and loading or dismantle into parts and loading charges can inquire from JAT.
v Shipment :-
Ø JAT will arrange shipment as soon as possible after JAT confirmed payment. User will be notified of the date of shipment by E-mail from JAT shipping staff /Customer Support Sales Staff or from User “Customer’s Profile” link in the site.
v Freight Insurance :-
Ø Freight insurance is an option and calculated on the total commercial invoice price. So please notify JAT Customer Sales Support Executive if User requires to insure the goods.
Prohibition :-
Ø As Member’s ID users, the following activities are not allowed:
Give false information when register
Use other Users ID and password illegally
Copyright the information, designs etc in the site
Dispute settlement :-
The Users assume to settle the dispute in their own responsibility when the dispute is caused with other Users.
JAT doesn't assume the responsibility of settling such disputes concerned.
JAT has full authority to include, delete or amend, change conditions, charges / fees without notifying.
