Its beyond doubt that Japan has become very important second hand cars expoter in the world.
Japanese cars are very popular the world over and while getting a new car can be beyond reach for many consumers, second hand cars from Japan has easily acted as a cheaper option these consumers thirst for a car. Good roads, regular and mandatory services, controlled speed limits are some of the reasons that make Japanese cars to be as good as new by the time they are being exported as second cars for almost half the price of a new car. Most of the top importers of these second hand cars are mostly developing countries. According to Japan Automobile Dealers Asscociation seasonal news paper, Russia leads the pack with almost 390,812 units during 2007 anual exports.

UAE is second with 98,940 units, third is New Zealand with 82,608 units, Chile is fourth with 79,751 units while Kenya is distant fifth with 33,242 units. Full list is shown
